Page is gone.
Yup, it's gone but not forgotten. I had it on my iPod, and when I got
a new super-duper iPod, it wouldn't transfer. I even did the "copy 42
CDs" method, and it still wouldn't come up.

Yes, 42 CDs. That's what happens when you try to move over 6,000
songs. And about 10% of those are Grateful Dead songs, so the average
song length is about a day and a half. Man, these things can sure hold
a lot of stuff!

Anybody have the original link to the tune in question? It was very,
very cool. A guy put it together all by himself, as I recall. It was a
Chicago blues that incorporated Babe's vocals from, "Towed In A Hole."
It's one of my very favorite L&H films, and the blues song was
completely respectful (I know how protective some folks are of pure
Stan & Ollie material).

OK, one more thing. I'm really glad to see someone posting here!
Usenet is just about dead, and I guess we have to face that fact.
Still, it's nice to see that there are a few of us alive and kickin'
around.

Yup, that's it. Thanks! I'll put it back in the rotation it should be
in.

Hey, you remember what a big deal and uphill battle it was getting a
L&H group on here all those years ago? Oh, well. Thanks for keeping
the dream alive for a little while longer.

You too. Now coming here is a little like standing in a house you've lived in
for years and then moved out of. Just taking a look around and reliving the
memories.

So many ISPs have dropped Usenet, but at least it's not dead yet. Thankfully
there are still some very active groups left. Too bad this isn't one of them.
But it will stay on my list as long as it's around and I can access it.
