Yes, but the prints they use vary widely. Some are the fully restored
prints (with the MGM lion and original titles); others are film classic
prints. They also showed only half of "Below Zero". And what was the
problem with the "Pardon Us" soundtrack?

Let everything be as it should be;
Thus shall it be!"
- Magical chant from "Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi"

"Drizzle, Drazzle, Drozzle, Drome,
Time for this one to come home!"
- Mr. Wizard from "Tooter Turtle"

They did vary widely. The Film Classics prints didn't surprise me as much as
the Blackhawk print did.

I judged about a half dozen of TCM's prints to be superior (albeit marginally)
to what's on the UK DVDs. But the biggest surprise was the opening title cards
on "Berth Marks":

TCM:
Mr. Hardy told Mr.
Laurel to meet him
at the Southern Pacific
Station Wednesday
morning--

So Mr. Laurel went to
the Santa Fe on
Thursday afternoon--

UK (Universal) DVD:
Mr. Hardy told Mr.
Laurel to meet him
at the Santa Fe
Station at a quarter of
ten -- But Mr. Laurel
became confused and
thought he meant
9:45 --

Given the scene that follows, the UK version seems like the correct version.

According to the book "Laurel & Hardy" by McCabe & Kilgore, the latter title
is the correct one.
