Hi All:
In August of 1978 I was part of the planning committee that put on the
first ever International Convention of the Sons. I made a sound 46 min
film of the event. It was transfered to vhs (using the latest in 1978
technology...) and then the original 8mm went on a tour of the Sons'
different tents. Never made it back to me, but I do have the vhs copy
which I have put onto a dvd.
The highlights include;
Q&A Session with Lucille Hardy Price, Anita Garvin and Darla Hood.
Anita Garvin's emotional response to her standing tradition at the
banquet.
Darla Hood introducing The Bohemian Girl and talking about her fellow
Our Gang cast members.
And much more.
