Laurel & Hardy rarity comes to DVD

January's release of SAVED FROM THE FLAMES has some special stuff of
interest for L&H fans. In addition to the complete short THE PEST
starring Stan Laurel, there's an MGM promo short with L&H and James
Finlayson; all that survives is dubbed into French, but it's nice to
see. The European release of this set also contains a commercial with
a pair of L&H lookalikes wrecking a truck and heading for a furniture
store; I wonder if that is included on the U.S. release as well? More

I bought the French DVD of this a couple of years ago. It's always
good to see the boys in sommething you've never seen before but I'd
call it more interesting than entertaining. My Langdon set is supposed
to be delivered on Friday.

it is good news that at last,we will be seeing His First Flame in a
good print.as previous prints were disappointing
