Just what is vintage-film group? Might be helpful if a link is
provided so the folks who would be interested can go there.

According to Google, no such group exists. It was proposed but
rejected. Maybe there's a dot in the wrong place or something, but
what is this person trying to say, anyway?

<<getem while they're hot...>>

Get what, exactly?

Google doesn't support binary newsgroups. You must install a newsreader to
access the groups. You'll find movies in either dvd or mpg format, uploaded in
parts which must be put together by your reader. It's quite easy if you have a
fast connection. BUT - downloading copyright material is illegal... Let your
conscience be your guide.

Well, if you burned a DVD ... then whoever you sold it to, they wouldn't
