I watched Hollywood Review of 1929 this morning. Just before it started,
TCM ran a promo for their Summer Under The Stars promotion. They said
that each day in August was devoted to a particular performer, Laurel
and Hardy on August 23. They said to go to http://www.tcm.com/summer
where you could view and download podcasts for each featured performer.
(At least that's what I recall). When I go to that URL, something loads
but never plays. The screen just goes black. Has anyone been able to get
this to work? Is there some Laurel and Hardy material to be downloaded?
Thanks!

You didn't mention which browser or OS you use, but in my case (FireFox 3.01 in
WinXP Pro SP3), I had to allow NoScript to give permission to "turner.com".

Also, it's a Flash presentation, so if you have something else that may be
blocking it, you'll have to make the appropriate change(s) for it to appear.

A fair amount of RAM (2GB in my case) and a fast broadband connection wouldn't
hurt, either.

What'll you'll see - if you get it to play, that is - are clips from the various
stars, including the Boys. As for downloading anything, I didn't immediately
notice that one could unless one has a program to grab a Flash presentation for
download. I know they're out there but I don't know of one off-hand.
