} Favorite Laurel and Hardy silent short:
Liberty (although I suspect "Hats Off" was probably one of their all-time best,
based on a detailed synopsis I once read)

} Least favorite L&H silent short
"Flying Elephants"

} Favorite L&H sound short:
Impossible to narrow down to just one! It is a tie between ten or twenty of
them!

} Least favorite L&H sound short:
The Laurel-Hardy Murder Case

} Favorite L&H Roach Feature:
Way Out West

} Least favorite L&H Roach Feature
Swiss Miss (only because L&H don't have enough screen time; their footage is up
to par as always)

} Favorite L&H post-Roach feature:
The Big Noise

} Least favorite post-Roach feature:
Nothing But Trouble (I didn't see "A-Haunting We Will Go")

} Favorite use of the line "Here's another nice mess...etc."
Closing scene of "Utopia" (aka "Atoll K"); it was the best way to end L&H's
final film.

} Favorite Stan crying moment:
Helpmates: When Ollie says, "It's enough to make a man burst out crying!", Stan
immediately does just that.

} Favorite Ollie tie twiddle moment:
Can't think of a favorite. IMHO, the tie-twiddling was just incidental, almost
as natural as breathing or blinking; not really a laugh-getter.

} Favorite Ollie pained-look-at-the-camera moment:
2-way tie: "Sons of the Desert" scene when Stan spills the beans to the wives,
and "Blotto" when Ollie is told he had been drinking "cold tea"

} Favorite James Finlayson moment:
His numerous reaction shots in the soda fountain scene in "Men O'War" broke me
up when I saw that film for the first time. However, Finlayson is hilarious in
every appearance he's made.

} Favorite Mae Busch moment:
"Give me that key!" from "Chickens Come Home"

} Favorite Stan without Ollie short:
I've seen very few.

} Favorite Ollie without Stan short:
I've seen very few of these also. :(

} Favorite Edgar Kennedy moment:
The entire second reel of "Leave 'Em Laughing"

} Favorite Charlie Hall moment:
When he has a glued-on beard and a plunger on his head in "Them Thar Hills". I
suspect one of Hall's finest scenes were left on the cutting room floor in the
pre-release butchering of "Come Clean"; the ice cream shop scene abruptly ends
just when it's starting to build!

} Favorite Tiny Sandford moment:
When he pretends to have a heart attack and says "This is the big one! I'm
comin' to join ya, honey!" Oops. That was Fred Sanford.

} Favorite Anita Garvin moment:
Poking Stan's throat in "We Faw Down"

} Favorite Stan Laurel line of dialog:
"You'd better come up dead or alive!" from "March of the Wooden Soldiers"

} Favorite Oliver Hardy line of dialog:
2-way tie: "At last you're showing some intelligence. That's what comes from
associating with me" From "Pardon Us" and "A lot of weather we've been having
lately" from "Way Out West"

} Favorite line of dialog by a supporting character:
Finlayson in "Thicker Than Water": "He gave it to him to give to him...You're
all nuts!"

} Favorite moment in which something medically impossible happens to a human
} body:
The cop crushed down to midget size at the end of "Liberty". Ollie's neck being
stretched in "Way Out West" is a close second.

} Favorite moment during which an innocent innanimate object gets destroyed:
The automobile falling to pieces when Stan backs into it in "Chickens Come Home"
