My father was an avid Laurel and Hardy fan and he had a very large
collection of Blackhawk Film releases of virtually their entire catalog.
This collection was purchased new in the late 1960s and has been well
kept in the original film cans in air conditioned storage in his home.
The films are in like new condition, still in the cans and labeled as to
what each title is. This includes the L&H short films as well as their
feature length films.

I would love to keep them, but I have no room for them and would like to
see them go to people who would love them as much as he did and I do.

Any suggestions as to how to proceed with this would be greatly
appreciated. There are also some W.C. Fields movies in the collection.

Thank you.

I would ebay them. Usually L&Hardy fans fight over Blackhawk films on
there.

Hi John, I am a huge fan too and I will be starting in November at a
theater not to far from me showing 30's and 40's shorts and features
and I was planning on renting 35 mm
Where are you located and just what do you have?
Thanks
Bobby

Hello, and thank you for your interest.

Please post an email address so we may discuss this off the group.

I will respond and I am not a spammer nor a usenet troll. I also know
enough to avoid posting much personal information on usenet these days,
so forgive my request but that's the only way I can deal with this.

Thank you.

Hi John,
Since we use 99% films at our meetings we still have need of quite a
few titles. I would be willing to buy all that you have including non-
L&Hs. That way we can up-grade and I can trade/barter with other tents
and collectors. E-bay is a crap shoot as of late. If a package deal
sounds good, contact me. ***@prodigy.net.
Thanks,

If this is the way you feel, then I would try contacting various tents
of the Sons of the Desert, I'm sure someone will give you a fair price
for them.. and these people will not only take good care of the
collection, but they will be enjoyed at meetings as well.

I'm getting very close to completing my L&H 16mm collection. I still
need a print of Sugar Daddies and would love to hear your price for
that.
