I am currently trying to compose a homemade CD of all of Ollie and
Stan's singing escapades (love Ollie's rich warm voice!) What would be
a complete list?

Want a tougher job? What are all of Alfalfa's songs recorded on film?
I have a fair list, and quite a collection, so I am looking forward to
contributions. I must say, I am utterly mystified that NO ONE has come
out with a CD compilation of Alfalfa's "Greatest Hits". ;^)
Garsh, wot fun!
Your Pal,
Johnny Cat
BS - this is for my own silly business, I ain't tryin' to shellac &
schill some bootleg scam - I just feel something like this should
exist, just so people that enjoy this sort of absurdity know what is
available in one ridiculous pile.
*For You Youngsters Out There:* Just imagine being in some bar,
waiting for your hot no name band of the week getting ready to
perform, you are full of a bottle of Stupid, and right after the whiny
band of the moment has played over the PA speakers way too loud, you
hear Alfalfa wailing "Learn to Croon."
An epiphany indeed, my friend!
Cheers!

For something really scary, you can add the Soundie "The Singing
Lesson", in which a 15-year old Alfalfa embarrasses himself beyond
comprehension by screeching "Goodbye Forever" to Charles Judels!

Don't go there, Chris! Next thing, we'll be hearing those interminable
choruses of "West of the Pecos" sung by a 21-year-old Alfalfa in GAS
HOUSE KIDS GO WEST!

When did Alfalfa's singing officially go from funny to annoying? My
guess would be OUR GANG FOLLIES OF 1938, then downhill after that.

Speaking of "West of the Pecos", anyone know if Alf did any singing on
The Roy Rogers Show?
