"The Flying Deuces" shown last night on my local PBS channel.

Ollie: "We're going to be shot at sunrise."

Stan: "I hope it's cloudy."

Curly: "We don't get up that early!"

I downloaded the movie the other day, but haven't got around to seeing it
yet. Its open source so anyone can download it legally. I think its on
google video in full too.

The link is below. You can download it in 4 different picture
qualities/sizes 79MB, 177Mb, 539MB or 1.7GB. If your going to get the
bigger versions you'll need a download manager in case you lose the
connection and have to start over again.

You can find Utopia/ Atoll K on that site aswell, its open source too.
Unfortunately it really is their worst feature film by some margin :)

You'll also find a couple of Stan solos on there called "Mud and Sand" and
"West of Hot Dog". The only other notable thing on the site is the radio
play called "Mr. Slaters Poultry Market." I'd recommend you listen to the
radio play cos its very funny and vintage L&H. The other L&H stuff on the
site is trailers for their films.

I went to the site, and searched for L&H radio broadcast. I tried looking under
"audio", then "radio programs". I can't find "Poultry Market". Is it still on
the site? If so, could you please tell me the exact page?

This is the exact page.

This was essentially a pilot show for a radio series that never happened.
Its a pity there aren't more of them.

Sorry, I did not visit for quite a while.
If you haven't found it I could send you a copy of a CD I have. It
contains (beside Mr. Slater's Poultry Market) 'The Marriage of Stan
Laurel' and the audio version of 'This Is Your Life'.

How is the print quality of Utopia/Atoll K? It's the only one I
haven't really tried to acquie, since it is available just about
everywhere.

Thanks,
Matthew

The picture quality is moderate. It doesn't come close to the type of
quality you get on their restored DVDs. But it is watchable, you know whats
going on and you can hear it clearly. I suppose because nobody owns this
film nobody wants to pay to have it properly restored. Or if someone has
restored it properly they are keeping it to themselves.
