This is one of the best DVDs Kinowelt released with NIGHT OWLS,
MIDNIGHT PATROL, THE FIXER UPPERS plus a load of great extras. So very
glad I bought it when it first came out. :-)

That reminds me, wasn't there supposed to be a third Kinowelt box set
that collected all of the individual DVDs that weren't in the first two
boxes, plus several others? I seem to recall it was even listed on
Amazon.de for a while, then it disappeared. Was it postponed or
cancelled?

It was released some time ago. Didn't appear to be offered very long
thought. As I already had all the Kinowelt discs there was no need to
get the third box set. Don't know if it's still available or not.

What's happened to Kinowelt anyway? Did their contract with KirchGroup
expire? No more discs being pressed? Their DVDs don't seem to be
avialable any more and the older pressings are getting hard to locate,
most of the DVD's listed on amazon.de are the UK releases . Anybody
out there know what's happened?

The third box set was offered for pre-order at amazon.de and other web
shops for some time, but it was definitely never released.

AFAIK there has never been an official statement from Kinowelt about
this, but since all their L&H DVDs were withdrawn from shops at the
same time it seems pretty obvious to me that their license has
expired.
