The signed contracts between Larry Harman & Stan & Ollie
(too old to reply)

I remember vividly the auction held by Hollywood Book & Poster for the
signed contracts between Larry Harmon & Stan & Ollie. It was right
before E-bay and they had the contract on display in their then
showroom. I remember because it stated that Larry Harmon would own the
rights in perpetuity to the Boys likenesses. It had both their
signiatures, and was dated (If i recomember) 1956.
I also rememebr reading a lenghthy chapter in the Laurel & Hardy
Scrapbook about the whole Larry Harmon vs. the Hal Roach Studios
lawsuit. He won, and there was a menu for a proposed Laurel & Hardy
Pizza Chain! among other slightly mis-guided ideas that never came to
fruition.
In all this conversation about Larry Harmon, we must remember that at
least he gave us that true masterpiece of the modern cinema, FOR LOVE
OR MUMMY!

Besides "For Love Or Money", I personally find it irritating that L&H comic
books say "Larry Harmon's Laurel and Hardy" prominently on the front cover, as
if Larry Harmon personally created Laurel & Hardy!

Hmmmm!!!
